WATER SHADE
This project is completely a political. It IS literally a gate of water. This project goes by the name of “Water Shade”. It’s both a dish and a cover, working with water to keep freshness in and everything larger than Oxygen OUT! Designer Yitu Wang doesn’t want to keep you from your delicious apples though, so there’s a built in detector that sees your hand in approach, and thus is does desist.
How does this technology will affect our culture?
1. to preserve food freshness.
2. deflecting oxidization of food store inside the shade.
3. Moisture is locked in.
4. Freshness is locked in.
5. Flies are locked out.
6. Dust is locked out.
Legal and ethical challenges this technology will pose.
The water shade can cover the food store inside the shade from dusts, while keeping oxygen out of the shade to prevent oxidization. It has a built-in detector in the middle stick, where if detected a hand approaching, the water shade will shut off automatically.
Some barriers to acceptance of this technology:
1. Quite expensive.
2. Unclear with the effects to nature.

this is the convenient technology that can make fruits fresh last longer...the households especially, don't have to worry to throw away the rotten fruits anymore...=)

This is a good product.

Because we can put a lot of fruits at one time.
